Nymphs of the brown citrus aphid on the underside of a tangelo leaf. Notice the very young aphid at the left .
The adult brown citrus aphid is black. They are all females, and they give birth to live young.
The aphid in the center has a trap door cut in its
back. That is where a parasitic wasp
let itself out.
The aphid in the upper center is an adult with wings.
At the bottom is one of the ants attending the
aphids.
